While Elon Musk is expected to reveal details this afternoon, this concept video for the Interplanetary Transport System reveals one striking design decision. Instead of launching everything at once, SpaceX launches the spacecraft into orbit first, then launches a refueling tanker afterwards to give the ship enough fuel to get to Mars.
